Audio accessible (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a non-profit social enterprise based in Montreal, Quebec, that produces accessible audiobooks and magazines in DAISY format for people with print disabilities, in partnership with library and rights-holder organizations serving people with print disabilities.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through audioaccessible.ca (the “Site”) and in the course of our operations, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and, where applicable, Canada’s federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health or disability status of end readers) beyond what our partner organizations provide to us as necessary to fulfill accessible-format production services, and we do not require end readers of our partner libraries to identify themselves to us directly.
